More Blessed to Give than to Receive
Last week we had Homes for HOPE out at our Legacy Crossing community to commemorate the beginning of our first Hope House. Together, with our dedicated trade partners, suppliers, and the good people at Homes for HOPE and Hope International, we can make a difference in the lives of underserved communities around the globe with a Hand-Up, not a Hand-Out.
How does it work?
To combat poverty on a global scale, Homes for HOPE initiates projects in collaboration with builders. These projects become opportunities for trade partners, suppliers, and service providers to contribute by donating or discounting their time, skills, and resources. By doing so, they help maximize the project's profitability without compromising quality. Upon project completion, the generated donation is utilized to provide essential training, savings services, and loans to individuals who are living in impoverished conditions. This comprehensive approach gradually breaks the cycle of poverty, empowering individuals to improve their circumstances and build a brighter future.
